A Look At Donald Trump’s Plans For Key Issues During Election

(AmericanProsperity.com) – Donald Trump and Kamala Harris have faced off at their very first debate of this year’s presidential campaign. They spoke on some of the most pressing issues for this election and how they would tackle each issue as president.

Trump has stated that he would extend tax cuts for everyone, not just the wealthy. Harris’ tax policy focuses on bringing in more benefits for the middle and lower classes and taking more from the wealthy.

Donald Trump has also said that he’s going to end the “inflation nightmare” but some of his policies, like adding tariffs to imported goods, would likely increase inflation. Trump’s running mate, JD Vance of Ohio, has said that he would boost tax credit to five thousand dollars instead of just two thousand, but in response, Harris has suggested that she could raise the tax credit to six thousand dollars for parents of newborns.

Both candidates have completely opposing views when it comes to abortion; Donald Trump continues to speak on the overturn of Roe v Wade and has also criticized those who are supportive of abortion. However, Harris is supportive of abortion and women’s rights, which she’s consistently spoken on.

On the topic of immigration, Donald Trump said he would launch the largest deportation operation in American history. He also expects to reinstate hardline border policies to reverse what Biden and Harris have done in their time in office. Harris hasn’t issued a specific immigration policy just yet.

The former president has stated that he’d break up the Department of Education and cut federal spending for schools pushing “the race theory.” Trump has also spoken out about climate and has vowed to make the U.S. a top oil and gas contributor.

When looking at the different candidates, it’s clear that their policies differ, helping to hopefully make a clearer decision for voters.
