(AmericanProsperity.com) – A recent study was done to share what the top United States cities are to live in right now. The city that was ranked the top in the United States was Naples, Florida.
Naples is more of a resort city, but it made it to the top of the list because of their beachfront view and job opportunities. One particular area that the city scored high in was the overall quality of life, the value that residents get for their money, and job opportunities.
Erika Giovanetti, U.S. News and World Report’s loans expert said “This year’s survey found people are concerned about the economy and want more financial stability, so the value and job market categories were the factors that were most important to people. That’s something that really helped Naples.”
The city has a very low unemployment rate, just below three percent, and they also offer relatively high salaries in comparison to others while also having one of the strongest job markets in the country.
Said Giovanetti, “There is a big retiree population, so there is a lot of well-paid work for health care employees willing to take care of an aging population in that part of the country.”
The analysis ranked one hundred and fifty of the largest U.S. cities based on certain criteria to help people make more informed decisions on where to move to. When they asked Americans what they consider when choosing a place to live, many said the quality of life, job market, value, and desirability.
“While inflation has come down in recent months,” said Giovanetti, “Americans are still feeling the impact on their wallets, so finding a place that is affordable and where they feel like they have job stability is increasingly important.”
Following Naples, Boise, Idaho was ranked number two, while Colorado Springs, Colorado was ranked number three. Greenville, South Carolina; Raleigh, North Carolina; and Charlotte, North Carolina all followed and ended off the top six cities to live in.
