(AmericanProsperity.com) – Raising serious concerns about new potential threats to President-elect Donald Trump, a Chinese national repeatedly tried to breach security at Mar-a-Lago.

Zijie Li is a 39-year-old Chinese citizen on a student visa. He has been arrested multiple times for trespassing at Trump’s Florida residence, claiming to have information about a Chinese assassination plot against the president-elect.

Li’s stubborn efforts to enter Mar-a-Lago began on July 19, shortly after an assassination attempt on Trump.

Although the Secret Service issued a trespass warning, Li visited Palm Beach several times and attempted to approach the property.

On July 30, he was arrested for trespassing and ordered to stay 500 feet away from Mar-a-Lago.

However, Li continued his attempts to gain access to the property. On October 30, he asked a local resident for help entering Mar-a-Lago, which caused police to get involved.

After being briefly detained under Florida’s Baker Act for mental health reasons, Li was released and quickly returned to Mar-a-Lago, where he was arrested again.

Authorities have expressed grave concerns about Li’s persistent attempts to enter the property. An officer stated:

“The Palm Beach Police Department, in speaking with the United States Secret Service, believe that with the increased attempts by Li to gain entrance into Mar-a-Lago in an effort to make contact with the President Elect that another incident with Li could result in the necessity to use an escalation of enforcement.”

This alarming series of events highlights Trump and his properties’ ongoing security challenges.

The fact that a foreign national on a student visa was able to make several attempts to breach security at Mar-a-Lago raises serious questions about the effectiveness of current security measures and the potential for foreign interference.

Li’s case is not an isolated incident. Other Chinese nationals have previously attempted to trespass on Mar-a-Lago.

For instance, Yujing Zhang was arrested and later deported for illegally entering the property in 2019.

The security zone around Mar-a-Lago has been fortified with barricades, cones, signage and checkpoints.

The U.S. Coast Guard has also established restricted security zones in the surrounding waters.

As tensions between the United States and China continue to escalate, incidents like these serve as a clear reminder of the potential threats foreign actors pose.
