TX Candidate Hospitalized — DEVASTATING Health News
(AmericanProsperity.com) – Democratic candidate Beto O’Rourke is fighting an uphill battle in the Texas gubernatorial race. The state has not elected a liberal governor since Dorothy Ann Willis Richards left office in 1995. The former congressman is trying to change that, but an unexpected illness has knocked him off the traditional campaign trail.
On Sunday, August 28, O’Rourke took to Twitter to announce he was postponing several campaign events after being hospitalized. According to his message, he wasn’t feeling well on Friday night, so he went to Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, where doctors diagnosed him with a bacterial infection. He was given IV antibiotics and eventually released.
The Democrat said his physician told him to recover at home for a few days. He canceled his events in San Antonio, Corpus Christie, Three Rivers, Pearsall, and Goliad.
While my symptoms have improved, I will be resting at home in El Paso in accordance with the doctors’ recommendations.
I am sorry to have had to postpone events because of this, but promise to be back on the road with you as soon as I am able.

News about O’Rourke’s infection came shortly after reports surfaced that he might be making headway in the suburbs. On August 13, Collin County GOP Precinct Chair Kyle Sims posted a video on social media claiming, “Texas is turning blue. Collin County is turning blue.” His remarks were in response to the size of the crowd for the Leftist at a rally in Frisco. Former President Donald Trump won the county with 51% of the vote in 2020, but the ex-congressman hopes to flip it anyway.
Do you think O’Rourke has a shot at winning Texas?
