(AmericanProsperity.com) – When Biden made it to the White House, one of his first acts as President of the United States was to stop the production of the Keystone XL Pipeline. Not only did Biden destroy jobs, but he also diminished America’s energy independence. Now, several state leaders are stepping up to push Biden into restoring the Keystone XL Pipeline.

Republicans in 16 states sent a letter encouraging the president to reconsider his revocation of the permit allowing the construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline. The idea was to have the system transport hundreds of thousands of barrels of oil from Canada into the US. The Daily Wire reported on how Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen shared the GOP’s warnings of the consequences that would follow Biden’s blockage of the pipeline.
Knudsen added they’d told the president Americans would suffer at the pump and America’s allies would become more dependent on oil from the Middle East and Russia. If Biden had allowed the construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline to be completed, Americans wouldn’t be hurting at the fuel lines because prices would be lower, and the country would be more energy independent.
Reports from early April indicate how Biden wants to import more oil from Canada rather than just finish the pipeline. Where is the sense in that? Republicans filed a lawsuit against President Biden in 2021, claiming he overreached executive authority when he stopped the pipeline’s construction. Now, they’re demanding that he stop talking to foreign powers, look at the solutions in America, and reverse his policies that have damaged the United States as a whole.
