Biden's Granddaughter to Have a Wedding Reception at the White House

(AmericanProsperity.com) – First Lady Jill Biden announced Monday that the First Couple’s granddaughter, Naomi Biden, 27, will receive an exclusive White House reception on November 19, when she marries Penn Law student Peter Neal, 24. Communications Director Elizabeth Alexander told CNN that the first family looks forward to releasing more plans in the coming months. The young woman’s reception will be just the fifth in White House history.

Former Presidents George W. Bush, Lyndon Johnson, John Tyler, and Andrew Jackson all hosted affairs in the executive mansion. The most recent reception at the White House was under Bush, when his daughter, Jenna, married Henry Hager in 2008. The Bushes held a reception in Washington, D.C. a month after the Texas wedding.

There have also been 18 wedding ceremonies at the White House, a practice far more common. Most recently, Pete Souza, official White House photographer under former President Barack Obama, married Patti Lease in an iconic Rose Garden ceremony. The mansion’s East Room was the favorite spot for ceremonies until former President Richard Nixon’s daughter, Trish, opted for the stunning garden, starting a new trend.

While former President Donald Trump never had a ceremony or reception in the building under his watch, he was heavily criticized by the Left for using the White House for private and political events.
