(AmericanProsperity.com) – Leadership among companies has changed over time and many companies are speaking out about how it will continue to change with AI advancement. The best practices for employee management usually are to go into the office, check in, and walk around.
Christy Pambianchi, Chief People Officer at Intel said, “Workplaces have been transformed.”
Artificial Intelligence is pushing workplaces to develop at a rapid pace and leadership, naturally, is expected to follow suit. One thing that many are looking at are Pilots, which are AI drivers, and according to records, when they are present they are three and a half times more productive and three times more loyal to the business.
Ted Mabrey, the global head of commercial business at Palantir, said, “The human-computer interface is getting dramatically more efficient.”
He continued, “A huge part of what we see everyday workers’ jobs doing is essentially fighting the rigidity of the software systems that they use to do their job, and then doing a huge amount of manual work.”
Mabrey said that originally, most of the management was making sure people were efficient and held accountable for doing repetitive tasks. However, he said now “it starts to become increasingly a management of, how fast are we thinking about new ways to provide a better customer experience, to redesign the way that we operate?”
Pambianchi said, “Having a built-in coach for the manager can help give them insights about the team that they’re managing and the activities that they’ve taken on.”
Many leaders have said that artificial intelligence is helping to push leaders to become better and more efficient. According to Zero to Mastery findings, almost a third of team leaders are requiring or suggesting their team to use artificial intelligence tools in their work.
