BLM Exec Caught Red Handed – Stealing From Supporters
(AmericanProsperity.com) – Despite fighting for the same cause, leaders in the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement have come forward with a lawsuit against one of their own. The accusers are claiming that an executive of the BLM Global Network Foundation (BLMGNF) has been funneling millions of dollars from donations.

BLM Grassroots (BLMGR), an entity of its own and not affiliated with BLMGNF, filed the lawsuit with the Los Angeles Superior court against Shalomyah Bowers, a board member at GNF, his consulting firm, and the foundation itself. BLMGR alleged Bowers stole $10 million worth of donations for his personal use. The lawsuit also claims Bowers became a “turned usurper” and charged fees for people to donate, which he in turn used as his own money. The plaintiff requests that the court order GNF to stop using the BLM name as well as pay financial compensation.
Melina Abdullah, a BLMGR co-director and founder of the LA BLM chapter, announced the lawsuit during a press conference. She asserted that GNF didn’t belong to those who founded it anymore, and instead the group was under the control of a person who gave himself a $2 million salary for a single year.
The BLMGNF Board of Directors denied the allegations in a statement, claiming to be dismayed and disappointed by the false narrative that opposing BLM leaders have spread. The board also accused Abdullah and the others of paying themselves $10,000 worth of personal stipends per month.
