Budweiser Pushes Controversial Agenda Despite Backlash

(AmericanProsperity.com) – According to a September 19 report in The Guardian, some Anheuser-Busch InBev’s mid-level managers have been pushing the transgender agenda within Bud Light. As noted by the British newspaper, this situation has been taking place despite the massive collapse of the company’s partnership with Dulan Mulvaney, who is one of the most famous TikTok transgender influencers.

In the report, The Guardian examined Mulvaney’s controversy and the way it severely affected the company. The media outlet also spoke to numerous sources inside Bud Light, along with numerous LGBTQ organizations they will ally with. One group called Phoenix Pride told the British newspaper that Bud Light will sponsor a festival in October that will include different shows of “family-friendly drag entertainment.”

A spokesperson for this group named Jeremy Helfgot told The Guardian that Phoenix Pride will put these shows on near the Arizona capitol. He explained the group decided to take this step as a response to the way some political leaders are allegedly making efforts to “shut down that entire culture.” He also told the media outlet that the only reason why the group is able to take this type of action is because of the support of Bud Light and other “corporate partners.”

The executive director of the New York Leslie Lohman Museum of Art, Alyssa Nitchum, also told The Guardian that Bud Light and other companies should trust organizations like the one she’s leading. When asked why, Nitchum said that organizations like the museum, which is known for being LGBTQ-focused, are more capable of driving “the conversation.” Further, she explained that if the company wants to support the LGBTQ community, this one should ask its “queer” workers what they really need.

Speaking on condition of anonymity, a former Bud Light employee told The Guardian that the company didn’t provide good leadership during the Mulvaney scandal. The former employee explained that the lack of leadership lasted for a month and claimed that Bud Light succumbed to “rash decision-making” during that time.
