(AmericanProsperity.com) – For years, mainstream media has touted that President Donald Trump worked with Russia to secure his 2016 presidential win over then-Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. However, recently declassified documents show that the Clinton Campaign, in fact, was the one working with Russia.
On September 29, 2020, a letter from the Director of National Intelligence (DNI), John Ratcliffe, to Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Lindsey Graham (R-SC), revealed the following:
- In July of 2016, US Intelligence learned that Russia obtained information about an alleged plan of Hillary Clinton to “stir up a scandal” by associating Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin.
- On July 26, 2016, Former Central Intelligence Agency Director John Brennan briefed former President Barack Obama of an “alleged approval by Hillary Clinton…to vilify Donald Trump”.
- On September 7, 2016, US Intelligence sent an “investigative referral” to FBI Director James Comey to investigate Clinton’s plan, which they believed to be “a means of distracting the public from her use of a private email server.”

As with everything we read in the news, there’s always more to the story. Hillary Clinton used her access to Obama, relationship with the spy Christopher Steele, and her power to spin her own scandal into one about Trump. However, Americans can now see the truth thanks to declassified documents and a bit of transparency.
