Conservative Social Media Company Parler DEPLATFORMED

Social Media Regulation: Changes Needed Now

( – Providing access to social media is a power that should come with great responsibility. Unfortunately, that’s not always the case. Social media platforms run rampant with both censorship and fake news, seemingly minimizing any benefits they actually provide. Now that Big Tech forced Parler, the main free-speech platform on the internet, to go off-line for a few days, it’s time for change.

Through a “coordinated effort,” Google, Amazon, and Apple have banned the conservative social media site, Parler, from their stores. In addition, Amazon shut off its servers Sunday night.

Parler CEO John Matze hopes to have his site back up and running within a week after choosing a new web host. Matze also warned readers to “expect the war on competition and free speech to continue,” prompting many to boycott the Big Tech companies and demand changes to the industry.

While our free market is a beautiful thing, Americans must push back against Big Tech’s censorship and bullying against sites and businesses committed to speaking freely.
