(AmericanProsperity.com) – Dr. Fauci has become a centerpiece for controversy and conspiracy theories. His situation has only amplified as the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and similar agencies haven’t been transparent. Now, evidence shows that instead of providing requested documentation, the NIH decided to shred it.
A letter the Members of the Republican House Committee on Oversight and Reform sent to Xavier Becerra, director of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), details the importance of the documents and their potential to reveal where COVID-19 had actually originated. The letter also accuses the NIH and HHS of attempting to obstruct the truth by hiding, shielding, or destroying evidence.
Lawmakers alleged an advisor within NIH described how they were forced to shred documents regarding Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) grants dating back to 2014.

The individual sent an email to a member of the committee on November 5, 2021, describing how they signed a confidentiality agreement prohibiting them from discussing grants with anyone outside of the study. Officials also asked everyone involved to destroy any notes they’d taken during the meeting.
Republicans have asked numerous times for documentation regarding a grant for EcoHealth Alliance during the Obama administration. They’re particularly interested in its connections with former NIH director Francis Collins and Fauci’s contributions to the “National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases” in May and the WIV in July of 2021.
Despite the committee making it easier for the organizations to answer their questions, neither of the federal agencies has touched the subject, with both refusing to turn over documentation. What could they be hiding?
