(AmericanProsperity.com) – Old age can be a harrowing reality, one nearly every person will face at some point. The years impact everyone differently, and it’s unfair to assume that just because someone is beyond a particular age, they have certain issues. Well, Democrats have done just that as they attack Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), claiming she’s mentally unfit for her office. Now, the 88-year-old is fighting back.

Some colleagues suggest her mental health is in a rapid decline. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, a congressional Democrat, also from California, claims they’ve known Feinstein for a decade and a half, yet during an hours-long discussion, they had to repeatedly introduce themselves. The paper noted that, in total, there are four fellow senators, a House member, and three former staffers who say her mental state is deteriorating.
Feinstein, on the other hand, doesn’t believe it. She says all is well and refuses to step-down despite numerous requests that she retire. It’s possible the congresswoman is simply dealing with the death of her husband, who passed in February after losing a battle to cancer. She may be 88 years old, and people can claim she forgets their names among other mishaps, but have they never made a mistake? If so, why is it only a sign of mental decline after a certain age?
