(AmericanProsperity.com) – On Wednesday, September 30, former Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) James Comey spoke to the Senate Judiciary Committee about his agency’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. But, the former Director of National Intelligence Ric Grenell strongly disagreed with Comey’s testimony in an interview on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures.”
At the hearing, the former director claimed he did not know about the warnings of Russian propaganda while leading the FBI. Grenell countered that sentiment, saying Comey was “blaming lower level, mid-level career intelligence officials for this whole debacle” and “throwing the intelligence community career officials under the bus.”

Grenell said Comey has a long history of taking meticulous notes of his agency’s inner workings, So, his pretending not to know anything about the probe will corrode the American people’s trust in the intelligence community and government agencies.
Our national intelligence agencies walk a fine line between transparency and national security. But, when such contradicting opinions are shared about topics crucial to our democracy, we must push for the truth to be revealed.
What do you think? Is there too much transparency, or not enough?
