(AmericanProsperity.com) – Fox News has been enjoying pretty good ratings. Much of its success has come from the station’s lack of fear covering Special Counsel John Durham’s investigation, even claiming Hillary Clinton could be facing legal trouble. However, the network has suddenly changed its tune. But why?
Fox News recently broke the hearts of Trump supporters everywhere when it reported that there was little evidence tying Clinton to spying on Trump during his campaign and while he was in the Oval Office.

Why did Fox News change its tune? Well, it likely had something to do with Clinton accusing the company of coming close to actual malice during her speech at the New York State Democratic Convention. The former First Lady and Democratic nominee for president even mentioned filing a lawsuit against the media giant.
Fox News host Sean Hannity made it clear he wouldn’t let Clinton bully him, and he encouraged her to bring it on. The move recently set him apart from the rest of the network.
According to Byron York of the Washington Examiner, there isn’t much evidence suggesting Clinton was directly involved in the alleged spying. However, the Durham report shows her campaign lawyer, Michael Sussman, played a role. So, was it actually a lack of evidence that drove the network to change its narrative? Or was it Clinton’s threat to potentially sue that drove Fox News to reverse course?
