(AmericanProsperity.com) – The US Chamber of Commerce was once the most prominent supporter of business across our nation and fought for their needs in Washington. But, Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) now says the enormous lobbying organization has lost its way.
On Tuesday, March 16, in an interview with radio show host Hugh Hewitt, Cotton outlined how the Chamber decided to support multiple Democrats who, in turn, voted for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) “radical union bill” last year.

The Arkansas lawmaker also noted there are no longer “real Republicans” leading the organization, and accused the lobbying group of existing solely to bankroll the luxurious lives of its top executives.
The US Chamber has taken fire from other GOP members over the past year, including House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA). In September 2020, McCarthy said the Chamber had “sold out” and that, in fact, he did not want their endorsement.
While the Chamber responded to these comments saying that it “works tirelessly” with both parties, these two congressmen tell a different story; one that we must watch closely to see where this organization’s allegiances truly lie.
