(AmericanProsperity.com) – The legislative branch of our government makes our laws, effectively setting the course for America. This year, the Democrat majority in the House hopes to change the framework of our nation by altering the language our lawmakers use when referring to people.
On Sunday, January 3, the 117th Congress opened with a controversial prayer from Representative Emanuel Cleaver (D-MO). He closed his prayer with “amen and awoman.” Amen translates to “so be it,” making the phrase “awoman” completely nonsensical.
This prayer followed on the heels of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) introducing new House rules to make all official writing in the branch genderless. Rather than using terms like mother and father to refer to people, the new rules would simply classify those people as a “parent.” It would effectively wipe someone’s gender from all written documents.
Candidate for California Governor, Errol Webber, shares his thoughts on Pelosi’s new lingo:
Per the new House Rules, Nancy Pelosi doesn’t want to be referred to as a “woman”, a “sister”, a “mother” or a “daughter”.
Seriously, what does that leave?

While the Democrats try to steer our nation by manipulating word choice, citizens thankfully do not have to abide by the rules Pelosi is pushing on the House. Rather, we get to still use our freedom of speech when speaking of our mothers, fathers, sons, and daughters.
