(AmericanProsperity.com) – Longtime Democrat strategist James Carville pulled no punches when he laid bare the fatal flaws that cost his party the White House and both chambers of Congress.
Known for his sharp political insights, Carville squarely blamed the party’s inability to distance itself from the toxic “woke era” politics that have alienated mainstream American voters.
The veteran strategist did not stop there. He unleashed a blistering criticism of the “defund the police” movement, which originated from the radical Black Lives Matter organization.
Carville wasted no time in saying that the movement’s slogan was made of “the three stupidest words in the English language.”
Carville’s frustration was evident as he described how these far-left ideas had tainted the Democrat brand. “We could never wash off the stench of it,” he lamented.
“It’s like when you get smoke on your clothes and you have to wash them again and again,” stated Carville. “Now people are running away from it like the devil runs away from holy water.”
The Democrat Party’s descent into “wokeism” and identity politics ultimately proved to be its undoing.
Carville noted that voters saw the party as prioritizing identity over humanity, a fatal miscalculation in a nation longing for unity and commonsense solutions.
Adding insult to injury, Carville criticized the party’s lack of vision and inability to offer real change.
“In a 65% wrong-track country, we were offering people the same track,” he pointed out while highlighting the Democrats’ tone-deaf campaign strategy.
In the end, President-elect Donald Trump secured a second term, with Republicans regaining control of both the Senate and the House.
This electoral earthquake came as a shock to many Democrats who had confidently predicted victory for Kamala Harris.
