(AmericanProsperity.com) – Jen Psaki has a tough job being the press secretary of the White House. She is often the first line of defense to the president and frequently has to answer the tough questions. Americans have seen her “circle back” on questions in the past, but it seems reporters may have gotten the best of her this time.
During a press conference on January 26, reporters repeatedly asked Psaki if Vice President Kamala Harris was a potential candidate for the Supreme Court. Given Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer’s retirement announcement, the question is now relevant.

President Biden has promised to nominate a black woman to the Supreme Court bench. Despite Ketanji Jackson, justice for the US Court of Appeals, being the favorite to get Biden’s nod, speculation of VP Harris getting the nomination has been circulating.
White House correspondent for NBC, Peter Alexander, asked Psaki if there were any ways Biden would nominate Harris to the Supreme Court. The White House press secretary beat around the bush and never gave Alexander an answer. So naturally, Psaki’s worst nemesis, Peter Doocy from Fox News, asked the question again, spinning it in a different direction.
Doocy asked Psaki if she wasn’t commenting on considerations. Did that mean Biden was considering Harris? Psaki responded that the president has made it clear that he plans to run for reelection in 2024 and has asserted that Harris will be his partner on the ticket again.
Could Biden’s potential nomination of Harris be a way for him to boot the vice president? With her tanking numbers, which undoubtedly impact Biden’s own, one can speculate.
