Judge ARRESTED – Helped Illegal Criminal Alien Evade!

Metal handcuffs on a dark textured surface.

In a jaw-dropping turn of events, a judge was arrested by FBI agents after deliberately helping an illegal alien evade federal custody.

See the tweet below.

The County Circuit Court of Wisconsin Judge Hannah Dugan faces obstruction charges for intentionally misdirecting immigration officers who were attempting to apprehend Eduardo Flores Ruiz.

FBI Director Kash Patel announced the arrest in a statement detailing how Dugan allegedly interfered with a federal immigration operation at the Milwaukee County Courthouse on April 18.

Dugan, who has served on the bench since 2016 and won re-election unopposed in 2022, was taken into custody in the courthouse parking lot.

“A Wisconsin judge was arrested Friday after allegedly interfering with a federal immigration arrest operation at the Milwaukee County Courthouse last week,” Patel stated.

Federal authorities claimed that Judge Dugan “intentionally misdirected federal agents away” from Ruiz when they attempted to arrest him in her courtroom.

Despite her interference, agents managed to locate him, who had fled the scene.

The illegal alien was eventually apprehended after a foot pursuit, but not before putting public safety at risk.

Furthermore, the judge handles misdemeanor cases in Milwaukee County, where she was elected to a term until August 1, 2028.

Following her arrest, Dugan remains in custody and is expected to appear in U.S. District Court in Milwaukee to face the obstruction of justice charges.

This arrest occurs amid ongoing immigration controversies in Wisconsin, including a lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security regarding revoked student visas at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

In addition, Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley issued a cautious statement following the news:

“I am aware of the arrest of Judge Hannah Dugan. Like any individual in this country, I believe she is entitled to due process. We should let the facts come to light and the legal process play out.”

This case represents a troubling example of judicial activism interfering with immigration enforcement.

While elected officials in sanctuary jurisdictions have long hampered federal immigration authorities, Dugan’s alleged direct obstruction of ICE agents attempting to enforce the law takes this resistance to a new level.

The FBI’s swift action under Director Patel demonstrates the Trump administration’s commitment to enforcing immigration laws and holding accountable those who obstruct justice – even when they wear judicial robes.

The investigation is ongoing, with further updates expected as the case moves forward.
