Judge to Illegal Alien: You Have No Right To Do THIS!

(AmericanProsperity.com) – Restoring our faith in the legal system, an Ohio federal judge delivered a decisive blow to illegal aliens seeking to exploit the Second Amendment.

The judge’s ruling sends a clear message: constitutional rights are reserved for law-abiding American citizens, not those who violate immigration laws.

Carlos Serrano-Restrepo, an illegal alien living in the U.S. for over 15 years, faced charges after hoarding a huge arsenal of firearms.

Serrano-Restrepo attempted to dismiss the charges against him, but the federal judge firmly rejected the move.

The illegal alien had been living in Ohio and was charged with possession of a firearm by an alien unlawfully in the U.S.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) launched an investigation into Serrano-Restrepo after he purchased at least 22 firearms.

After discovering that Serrano-Restrepo lied on purchase forms, claiming to be an American citizen, the AFT went into action.

The scale of Serrano-Restrepo’s arsenal is truly alarming. ATF agents seized around 170 firearms, tens of thousands of rounds of ammunition and smoke/marine markers from his home.

In an attempt to evade justice, Serrano-Restrepo argued that any charges against him should have been dismissed based on the Second Amendment right to bear arms.

However, the judge saw through this ploy and firmly rejected the argument, writing that “disarming unlawful immigrants like Mr. Serrano-Restrepo who have not sworn allegiance to the United States comports with the Nation’s history and tradition of firearm regulations.”

“Mr. Serrano-Restrepo’s as-applied challenge lacks merit,” the judge added. “The swearing of an oath of allegiance occurs through the naturalization process, not through his asylum application or his years of living in the United States.”

Serrano-Restrepo’s case is far from over. His trial is set for January 21, 2025, giving law enforcement enough time to build an ironclad case against him.

The outcome of this trial could set a significant precedent in how the justice system deals with illegal aliens attempting to arm themselves under the guise of constitutional rights.

Serrano-Restrepo’s history reveals a pattern of disregard for U.S. immigration laws. He moved from Arizona to Orient, Ohio, in 2022, having entered the U.S. illegally in 2008.

Although Serrano-Restrepo claimed some firearms were for self-defense, the huge quantity of weapons and ammunition seized from his home suggests otherwise.
