(AmericanProsperity.com) – After suffering a massive loss in last month’s elections, liberals are scrambling for answers now that a judge blocked their attempts to keep the invasion of illegal aliens alive.
Specifically, U.S. District Judge Drew B. Tipton stopped the Biden administration’s controversial sale of materials for the U.S.-Mexico border wall.
This ruling comes as a direct response to legal action initiated by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.
Paxton fought to halt what many conservatives viewed as a clear attempt to sabotage future border protection efforts.
“President Trump has an overwhelming mandate from the American people to build the wall and I will do everything in my power to prevent any acts of sabotage by the outgoing administration,” Paxton declared.
Judge Tipton intervened to ensure that the Biden administration kept its promise to halt the sale of these critical border wall materials.
The administration had been auctioning off border wall parts since 2023 after stopping most construction in 2021.
This sale initially listed materials at a shockingly low bid of $5, which raised alarm bells among border security advocates.
“Nothing will leave the federal government for the next 30 days,” stated Andrew Warden, who represented the Biden administration in court.
President-elect Donald Trump has been vocal in his opposition to the Biden administration’s actions and filed an amicus brief to support Texas and Missouri’s legal efforts.
Trump labeled the sale of border wall materials as “possibly criminal,” highlighting the gravity of the situation.
His legal team argues that these sales violate federal law and could obstruct his plans to boost border security after retaking office.
The court’s decision is crucial, as public opinion has increasingly shifted in favor of building the border wall.
Texas Land Commissioner Dawn Buckingham also criticized the Biden administration’s actions:
“The Biden Administration’s latest attempt to block Texas and President-Elect Donald Trump’s efforts to secure the southern border is downright shameful and demonstrates a continued pattern of disregard for the safety of Texas and American families in favor of increasingly disastrous open border policies.”
