(AmericanProsperity.com) – On Saturday, September 26, President Donald Trump nominated Judge Amy Coney Barrett to fill the vacant seat on the Supreme Court. Without missing a beat, Liberals jumped to attack her parenting choices, including the adoption of two black children from Haiti.
It began when Jenny Beth Martin, co-founder of the Tea Party Patriots, shared the following words in a now-deleted tweet:

Her original tweet included an incorrect photo. But, in response to the first tweet, Ibram X. Kendi, the Director of the Center for Antiracist Research at Boston University, shared his opinion:
Some White colonizers "adopted" Black children. They "civilized" these "savage" children in the "superior" ways of White people, while using them as props in their lifelong pictures of denial, while cutting the biological parents of these children out of the picture of humanity. https://t.co/XBE9rRnoqq

Kendi wanted to express that adopting a child of color does not automatically make someone not racist. However, bringing Amy Coney Barrett into the conversation about this was unnecessary. Notre Dame Law Professor Carter Snead, a long-time friend of the Barretts who has also adopted children, celebrated her family life, calling them “radically generous and hospitable.”
While the Left will find just about any aspect of Amy Barrett to criticize, we should hope they would leave her family and children out of it. She shows dedication to her family while being an absolute powerhouse in the courtroom. The latter must be the focus of her Senate confirmation.
