Nestle Recalls Some Products For Fear of Contaminant

(AmericanProsperity.com) – The FDA published a voluntary recall on October 17, which Nestlé had issued late the previous week. The food manufacturer warned customers in Puerto Rico and the continental United States that one of the company’s ready-to-bake cookie dough products could include “white pieces,” which UPI has stated might be bits of plastic.

The recall statement lists just one product, Nestlé Toll House Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough With Fudge Filling, made between June and September of 2022. The manufacturer has assured consumers that none of its other refrigerated stuffed cookie products have had any issues.

Nestlé asks anyone who might have purchased the contaminated dough to return the unused product to the store where they bought it for a refund or replacement. Do not attempt to bake or consume potentially affected cookies. Anyone with questions or needing additional assistance can call Nestlé USA at 800-681-1676 during regular Eastern business hours.

Nestlé hasn’t reported any injuries resulting from the contamination and is cooperating fully with the FDA to resolve any remaining issues. The manufacturer reminded its customers that the company remains committed to providing safe, quality foods and apologizes for any inconvenience the incident might have caused.
