Mike Pence Makes A New 2024 Election

(AmericanProsperity.com) – Former Vice President and presidential candidate Mike Pence said he will “hold the Biden administration accountable” for weaponizing the federal government if he becomes president. During a July 10 interview with Newsmax, the GOP leader promised he would take this action and reshape the Justice Department if he wins the 2024 election.

Pence, who served under the Trump administration, said he saw the weaponization of the DOJ before, during, and after Trump’s presidency. He also told Newsmax he has seen US President Joe Biden and his son Hunter receiving a “soft treatment” from mainstream media and the DOJ. He cited as the latest example of this case Hunter Biden’s “sweetheart” plea deal with the agency over gun charges and tax evasion.

During his interview with host Rob Schmitt, Pence claimed this situation can’t go unnoticed and promised to make the Biden administration respond to it. He added that once he becomes the president of the United States, “we’re going to clean house in the Department of Justice” from day one.

When asked about the way the Democratic Party was weaponizing the DOJ during the Trump administration, Pence said he and the former president took the proper measures. Pence added that he and Trump always made their biggest efforts to remove from office those agents who were corrupting the agency.

The former Vice President told Schmitt that Americans watched the weaponization and politicization of the DOJ with Trump’s impeachment. He explained that in addition to the “Russia hoax,” impeaching the president for “a phone call” showed there was a “relentless effort” to overturn his presidency. Pence also blamed the Democratic Party for being behind these efforts.

At the end of the interview, he explained that watching the DOJ and intelligence community giving a “pass” to the Biden administration is dangerous for democracy. However, the presidential candidate pointed out that the worst aspect of this situation is to watch the mainstream media looking “the other way”.
