More Information Revealed About Suspected Shooter at Trump’s Golf Course

(AmericanProsperity.com) – According to a criminal complaint, the suspect in the second assassination attempt on Donald Trump may have been lurking near the golf course for almost twelve hours before a Secret Service agent spotted him.

Law enforcement sources said that the suspect, Ryan Wesley Routh, was detained by Florida authorities in relation to the incident. According to the criminal complaint, Routh’s cell phone data tracked him near the tree line of the Trump International Golf Club as easily as two o’clock in the morning.

The Secret Service agents that were with Trump during his golfing excursion walked the perimeter of the golf course when they spotted what appeared to be a rifle poking out of the bushes. The agent then proceeded to fire in that direction and then spotted Routh fleeing the area.

In the area of bushes the suspect had been hiding out in, they found a digital camera, two bags, and a loaded SKS-style caliber rifle with a scope. The serial number was allegedly “obliterated and unreadable to the naked eye.”

Donald Trump wasn’t harmed in the incident and was taken to a safe location by Secret Service agents. It’s unclear whether or not the suspect was pointing the gun at Donald Trump or if he fired a shot during the incident.

Donald Trump has had increased security following the first assassination attempt that happened during a rally in Pennsylvania. The Secret Service did security assessments of Trump’s golf course and implemented measures to keep security heightened while Trump was there.
