Tech billionaire Elon Musk stood his ground against Democrat Senator Mark Kelly, doubling down on his accusation that the Arizona lawmaker is a “traitor” for prioritizing Ukraine over the United States.
During a Fox News interview, the Tesla CEO and Trump ally did not mince words, calling out Kelly’s recent Ukraine visit. It continued to push for billions in foreign aid while American citizens struggled.
Patriots are rallying behind Musk as he exposes the left’s dangerous foreign policy priorities.
While speaking with commentator Bret Baier, Musk refused to back down from his characterization of Kelly, emphasizing that American interests must come first.
When pressed about Kelly’s decorated military and NASA background, Musk remained firm in his assessment.
“I think somebody should… care about the interests of the United States above the interests of another country. If they don’t, they’re a traitor,” Musk stated clearly, reinforcing the America First approach championed by President Trump’s administration.
Elon Musk becomes deeply moved, and deadly serious, when Bret Baier asks him why he called Sen. Mark Kelly a "Traitor" for pushing to send more US aid and weapons to Ukraine.

Kelly, who recently visited Ukraine, toured a military hospital, and met with Red Cross representatives, has been a vocal proponent of continuing the massive flow of American taxpayer dollars to the Eastern European nation.
This stance directly conflicts with President Trump and his advisors’ efforts to broker a peace deal between Ukraine and Russia that would end the costly conflict.
The confrontation escalated when Kelly fired back at Musk, attempting to frame his support for Ukraine as patriotic.
“Elon, if you don’t understand that defending freedom is a basic tenet of what makes America great and keeps us safe, maybe you should leave it to those of us who do,” Kelly responded.
In a petty move that revealed the senator’s true feelings about free speech and differing opinions, Kelly announced he would be selling his Tesla vehicle in protest of Musk’s comments.
“I bought a Tesla because it was fast like a rocket ship. But now every time I drive it, I feel like a rolling billboard for a man dismantling our government and hurting people. So Tesla, you’re fired! New ride coming soon,” Kelly posted, revealing he would replace it with a Chevrolet Tahoe SUV.
The exchange highlights the growing divide between the America First movement led by Trump and supported by Musk and establishment politicians who continue to prioritize foreign entanglements over domestic needs.
Under the past administration, Ukraine has received tens of billions in aid while America’s southern border remains in crisis and working families struggle with inflation.
This confrontation represents more than just a disagreement between two public figures – it exemplifies the fundamental difference between the globalist policies championed by Democrats and the patriotic approach of putting American citizens first.
As President Trump continues working toward peace in Ukraine through diplomacy rather than endless spending, Musk’s outspoken support reinforces the administration’s commitment to an America First agenda that prioritizes citizens over foreign interests.
