The former Democrat Senator’s outrageous claims on “Morning Joe” revealed just how desperate the left has become in their attempts to demonize Trump’s efforts to secure America’s borders and protect citizens from dangerous gang members.
In a recent episode, McCaskill made an inflammatory comparison between President Trump’s immigration enforcement and the actions of authoritarian regimes.
She specifically attacked the administration’s deportation of Venezuelan illegal aliens to El Salvador, claiming this constituted “disappearing people” in the style of Vladimir Putin.
She claimed:
“We’ve got to make sure that people cannot be picked up and disappeared like his buddy Putin does. Like his buddy. He does like his buddy Xi does, like his buddy Kim Jong Un does. They do this?”
“They disappear people and many times murder them. So we’re not going to go down that road. I don’t care how much the president screams irresponsibly about impeachment, there’s no way,” she added.
McCaskill’s absurd comparison between deporting criminal illegal aliens and the murder of political dissidents by dictators represents a new low in leftist rhetoric.
The Trump administration has been clear that deportations target individuals who are in the country illegally and have committed crimes, not political opponents or American citizens.

Besides, this is not the first time McCaskill has made outlandish accusations against conservatives.
She previously labeled those who opposed the Biden Administration’s censorship programs as “Putin lovers” and has even claimed that President Trump is “more dangerous than Hitler” – a disgusting and historically ignorant comparison that trivializes the horrors of the Holocaust.
Legal expert Jonathan Turley has criticized McCaskill’s words as part of a dangerous pattern of escalating hysteria from the left.
He pointed out that such inflammatory language can actually incite violence while undermining faith in America’s constitutional system, which remains stable and capable of resolving political conflicts.
Moreover, President Trump has consistently pledged to comply with court orders while appropriately appealing rulings he disagrees with – a legal approach that worked successfully during his first term.
The left’s attempts to portray standard legal deportation procedures as authoritarian tactics demonstrate their desperation to prevent the enforcement of immigration laws.
Ultimately, the American people deserve an honest debate about immigration policy, not hysterical comparisons to Putin and other dictators.
