(AmericanProsperity.com) – Our Armed Forces, including the National Guard, have sworn to serve and protect our nation. But, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) believes Democrats are using them to further their own agendas after a political stunt they pulled this week.
On Monday, March 15, Guam’s congressional delegate, Michael San Nicolas, led Guam National Guard members to visit Greene’s office and deliver her “delicious Chamorro Chip Cookies” in an attempt to get to know new lawmakers. But, this stunt came just weeks after Greene accidentally lumped the US territory with China, Russia, and the Middle East during a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference in February.
The following morning, Representative Greene used this incident to address the continued presence of troops at the Capitol:
It’s time for our great men and women of the National Guard to go home and be with their families.
The Democrats need to stop using them as political theatre and drama on Capitol Hill.
Shame on Democrats for disrespecting our military.

Our military troops did not sign up to march through the halls of congress or sleep in makeshift housing around our nation’s capital to protect from a now-nonexistent threat. Representative Greene is right to call for an end to the “politicization and misuse” of our nation’s military, and we hope the generals in charge will respond in due course.
