(AmericanProsperity.com) – The American media is getting antsy about the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict. The White House seems to be reluctant to call Putin’s military actions war crimes. No pun intended, but the press has been pressing for answers.
On March 2, reporters asked President Biden before he boarded Marine One whether or not he believed Putin was committing war crimes. Biden stated they were closely monitoring the situation, adding it was too early to say anything. When the press asked if he believed Russia was intentionally targeting civilians, he replied he did believe so.
Now, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki is dealing with the press and its persistent questioning.

On March 3, during a press briefing, Sabrina Siddiqui attempted to get a firm answer on Biden’s reluctance to declare Russia’s actions as war crimes from Psaki. Siddiqui mentioned how other leaders, such as Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, were claiming Putin was committing war crimes.
Psaki claimed there was a process to follow in assessing the evidence they had available before they could make accusations. The press secretary claimed the US government had a standard to follow, adding that they were working closely with international allies and would release information as it became available.
Once again, the press has failed to get a straight answer from the Biden administration. Why is Biden being reluctant to call Putin’s military actions war crimes? Wasn’t he the one Putin was supposed to be scared of due to his tough stance on the Russian President?
