(AmericanProsperity.com) – Authorities believe they’ve apprehended the man responsible for the deaths of several women. The case is still ongoing, as police have yet to identify all the victims, but authorities feel they have enough to connect their suspect to at least four murders.
35-year-old Anthony Robinson has been an inmate at Rockingham County Jail since late November. On December 17, authorities approached him with news that it may be a long time before he’s out from behind bars. Police have charged Robinson with two counts of first-degree murder, tying him to several alleged victims.

Authorities in Virginia believe the 35-year-old may be their “Shopping Cart Killer.” Law enforcement alleges that at least four women in Harrisonburg and Fairfax County, VA are victims of Robinson, noting there are likely more.
Kevin Davis, the Chief of Police for Fairfax County, stated that Robinson found his victims on dating sites, met up at hotels, and killed them. He then moved them to what Davis called their final resting place via shopping carts. The chief mentioned that Robinson performed horrible acts on his victims but did not elaborate on whether those deeds occurred postmortem.
Upon investigation, authorities determined the cause of death for all four victims was blunt force trauma. Police identified three of the four victims as 54-year-old Allene Elizabeth Redmon, 39-year-old Tonita Lorice Smith, and 29-year-old Cheyenne Brown, who authorities claim was four months pregnant at the time of her death.
Authorities noted they found another body, the fourth known victim, along with Brown’s remains. Decomposition was too severe for immediate identification, but the case remains under investigation.
