(AmericanProsperity.com) – The far-left congressional “squad” is notorious for pushing anti-Semitism through both their comments and anti-Israel policies. While some Americans hoped they would tone back their hate speech as time went on, many have only continued their rants against Jewish culture and history. The latest instance involves House Representative Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and a keynote address.
During the 2021 Democratic Socialist of America (DSA) National Convention, Tlaib gave a speech noting that there are people “behind the curtain” choosing to “exploit” Palestinians “from Gaza to Detroit.” Anti-Defamation League President Jonathan Greenblatt called these comments “anti-Semitic dog whistling,” and many others have spoken out against Tlaib’s hateful speech.

Tlaib has also put actions behind her words, writing a letter to Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen asking her to reject tax-exempt statuses for pro-Israel groups. The IRS has rejected at least one such organization, but a quick appeal overturned the decision. However, if Tlaib and the rest of the squad’s anti-semitic comments and actions continue to go unconfronted by congressional members, there’s no telling how far they will go. Hopefully, moderate Democrats can join with GOP lawmakers to condemn this hate speech and support our Jewish communities both within our nation and abroad.
