Man Who Stabbed 8 People In Las Vegas Is An Illegal Immigrant

While many come simply seeking asylum, others may come with evil intent. Many undocumented individuals commit various crimes after gaining entry to the US. One man, in America illegally from Guatemala, recently stabbed eight people in Las Vegas.

Yoni Barrios, 32, already had a criminal record in California. At around 11:40 am, the Guatemalan native allegedly began stabbing eight people on the Las Vegas strip in a fit of rage. His victims, two of whom died, were a mix of locals and tourists. Maris Mareen DiGiovanni, 30, and Brent Allan Hallett, 47, local residents, died outside the Wynn Hotel.
The immigrant, declaring he was a chef, began his rampage after a group of showgirls declined to take photographs with him. Authorities claim Barrios used a large knife to carry out the mass stabbing. The Clark County District Attorney, Steve Wolfson, has charged the illegal immigrant with two counts of murder and six counts of attempted murder.
Barrios is only one of the many criminals flooding into the US, posing as asylum seekers or refugees. Every month, Customs and Border Patrol encounter more than 200,000 people seeking to enter the US. How many of those people are like Barrios? Many Republicans are criticizing the Biden administration’s lack of border security because it’s enabling these criminals to enter the US and wreak havoc on innocent Americans.
