(AmericanProsperity.com) – The failures continue to pile up on Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams. Not only did she lose in her challenge to Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, but now she’s in debt. To top it all off, Abrams decided to leave several members of her staff in the cold just in time for Christmas.

Axios learned from Lauren Groh-Wargo, a two-time campaign manager for Abrams, that the Democrat’s campaign had raised more than $100 million in her recent bid to become governor. Fact remains, the Abrams campaign now owes more than $1 million to vendors.
Despite successful fundraising, Abram’s campaign ran out of money seemingly as fast as it raised it. A majority of the 180 people working for Abrams received a notice that their paychecks would be coming to an abrupt halt as a result. The checks ended a week after Election Day, right before the holidays.
One staffer told the outlet that they’d heard others express concern about how they were going to pay their rent in January. The staffer asserted that what Abrams did was “messed up.”
Even after raising $100 million and driving her campaign into $1 million worth of debt, Abrams still lost by a large margin to Governor Kemp. Now, hundreds of people are without jobs and don’t know how they’re going to manage, let alone survive the stress of the holiday season.
