This Car Manufacturer SHOWS What It Means To Be An American
(AmericanProsperity.com) – General Motors (GM) is one of the world’s largest car manufacturers. Founded in Michigan, GM has been at America’s center for decades, producing some of the country’s best cars. However, a recent move from the mega-manufacturer has left a sour taste in the mouths of Americans as the company announced it would be building its new electric vehicle (EV) in Mexico.

President Biden has commended Ford and GM for expanding their horizons and jumping into the EV market. Meanwhile, he hasn’t had much praise for the world’s largest EV manufacturer, Tesla. Elon Musk, CEO of the EV giant, had a few choice words after GM made the announcement, claiming his company’s cars were the most “made-in-USA.”

Biden mentioned that Ford injected $11 billion into the market and GM made its largest investment ever, bringing thousands of jobs to Michigan. Musk, who recently wrote off Democrats and expressed support for GOP lawmakers, added Tesla has invested more than double what GM and Ford have and brought tens of thousands of jobs to the US. In fact, the EV producer just announced a new factory in Texas just months ago.

Does this mean Tesla has become a more “American” company than the likes of GM or Ford? While the two powerhouses have sent jobs overseas and across borders, Tesla has kept employment opportunities in the US, seemingly putting Americans first and giving them a way to provide for their families.
