According to a local news station, the man’s family confirmed the victim was Luis Manuel Casillas. The 29-year-old had gotten into an argument with a customer about how much he was charging them to fix their truck. Witnesses claim a group of six men chased Casillas through several buildings before finally catching him.
The mechanic’s sister, Sandy Casillas, said the individuals forced her brother onto his knees before shooting him in the head. The victim’s brother, Jose Casillas, mentioned being in contact with the mechanic prior to his death. He explained that he hadn’t heard from his brother, and then he received a call that someone had shot him.
The sister hopes whoever is responsible for her brother’s death gets locked up by police. The mechanic’s family said that Christmas will never be the same now. Casilla leaves behind his two daughters, ages 2 and 3, and his wife.
