The View Gets A Rude Surprise
(AmericanProsperity.com) – ABC’s liberal talk show “The View” has a long history of bashing Republicans on air. Despite the hostile environment, some conservatives still join as guests on the program. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) was recently brave enough to appear next to the liberal hosts but was in for a rude surprise, one even the hosts didn’t like.

The Republican was explaining that excessive government spending is the only cause of inflation, when suddenly two members of the audience began shouting “cover climate now.” Cruz initially shook off the heckler’s and continued to make his case. Then, a third person began shouting profanities at him.
Surprisingly, Whoopi Goldberg interjected and scorned the audience members for acting the way they did. She asserted the crowd needed to let the co-hosts do their job and mentioned the three disruptors needed to leave. The show then went to a commercial break.
Afterward, Cruz remained on set and another co-host, Ana Navarro, apologized to the senator. Navarro noted that she might be critical and vocal of the Republican, but she was sorry for the way the audience behaved.
At the end of the show, Goldberg told the audience they would be taking home a free copy of “Justice Corrupted: How the Left Weaponized Our Legal System.” The host apologized, but it wasn’t clear if her “I’m sorry” was to Cruz for getting heckled or to the audience for giving them the book.
