Top Election Official Admitted He Was Terrified of Finding Election Fraud

(AmericanProsperity.com) – After the 2020 presidential election, certain states like Arizona and Georgia came under intense scrutiny for potential fraud in their election proceedings and ballot counting. It’s been almost a year, and Americans are still waiting for the final audit report on Maricopa County, Arizona’s election dealings. In the meantime, though, the Gateway Pundit released a recording from one Maricopa County Supervisor who harshly criticized the original audit.

On Monday, September 20, the Gateway Pundit released exclusive audio of Supervisor Steve Chucri’s meeting with We The People AZ Alliance. During the recording, Chucri called the first Maricopa County audit “bullsh*t” and “way too self-serving.” He emphasized candidates barely won, some with margins as small as 200 votes, and this fear is what drove the lackluster recounts.

After the news outlet leaked the audio, Chucri resigned from his position, effective November 5. The members of Maricopa County’s Board of Supervisors will pick his replacement. Arizona Republic reporter Jen Fifield shared Chucri’s resignation letter on Twitter:

Maricopa County Supervisor Steve Chucri’s explicit criticism of the county audits highlights how close the race was in his county and how critical it is that residents there have confidence that the county correctly counted their vote. Hopefully, the final results of the Cyber Ninjas Maricopa Audit will bring both light and closure to the situation when released on Friday, September 24.
