Trump Documents Hacked by Iran and Sent to Biden Campaign

(AmericanProsperity.com) – According to the FBI and other U.S. agencies, Iranian hackers have stolen information from Donald Trump’s campaign and sent them to people associated with the Biden campaign.

The FBI confirmed at the beginning of August that it was investigating a complaint from Donald Trump’s presidential campaign that Iran had hacked and distributed confidential documents. Not long after this, intelligence officials did confirm that Iran was behind the hacking.

Kamala Harris’ campaign called the emails “unwelcome and unacceptable malicious activity.” The emails were received before there was public knowledge about the hack of the Trump campaign, and there is no evidence that the recipients knew the origin of the emails.

The United States has said that this is Iran’s ongoing work to interfere with the election, including previous attempts that have been linked to Tehran. Despite these allegations, Iran has denied any interference on U.S. affairs.

There have been multiple interferences in this year’s presidential election, including those from Russia and Iran. The United States officials have used sanctions, criminal charges, and public advisories to bring attention to these attempts.

Agencies have said that the hack on the Trump campaign and attempted breach of the Biden-Harris campaign were efforts to undermine voters’ faith in the election.

Trump’s campaign said that the leaks were “further proof that Iranians are actively interfering in the election” to aid the Harris campaign. This particular intrusion by Iran was just one of the multiple cyber-attacks and disinformation campaigns that were identified during this election time.
