(AmericanProsperity.com) – President-elect Donald Trump has taken a firm stand against activist Judge Juan Merchan, who refused to grant a sentencing delay in the New York hush-money witch hunt.
Merchan’s alarming decision exposes the depths of the Deep State’s desperate attempts to undermine the will of the American people and obstruct Trump’s return to the White House.
“Virtually every legal scholar and pundit says THERE IS NO (ZERO!) CASE AGAINST ME,” Trump said in a post on his Truth Social platform.
“The Judge fabricated the facts, and the law, no different than the other New York Judicial and Prosecutorial Witch Hunts. That’s why businesses are fleeing New York, taking with them millions of jobs, and BILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN TAXES,” the president-elect continued.
“The legal system is broken, and businesses can’t take a chance in getting caught up in this quicksand. IT’S ALL RIGGED, in this case against a political opponent, ME!!!” Trump concluded.
Merchan’s ruling set Trump’s sentencing for January 10, a mere ten days before being sworn in as the 47th President of the United States.
This timing has been described as a calculated move to cast a shadow over Trump’s triumphant return to power after his landslide victory against Kamala Harris in the 2024 election.
The witch hunt stems from 34 counts of falsifying business records related to a $130,000 payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels.
Despite the flimsy nature of these charges, the liberal New York justice system has pushed forward with its vendetta against the president-elect.
Trump’s legal team had filed a motion to delay the sentencing, arguing that it was unlawful and politically motivated.
However, Merchan dismissed these concerns and insisted on proceeding with the sentencing.
In response, Trump spokesman Steven Cheung criticized the prosecution as unlawful and politically motivated.
“The Supreme Court’s historic decision on Immunity, the state constitution of New York, and other established legal precedent mandate that this meritless hoax be immediately dismissed,” Cheung continued.
As Trump prepares to take office, his legal team turned to the Supreme Court with an appeal to Merchan’s ruling.
