(AmericanProsperity.com) – It’s been over a year since the 2020 presidential election concluded. Despite Biden calling the White House home, many voters believe Trump should still be in office. In a rally-like appearance, despite not mentioning if he’ll run in 2024, the former president turned attention to Mike Pence, suggesting the vice president had the power to overturn election results.
During January 29’s Save America PAC, the 45th President asked the crowd and the rest of America: If the Vice President of the United States didn’t have the ability to overturn election results in the Senate, then why were Democrats and RINOs trying so hard to reform the law?

The legislation in question is the Electoral Count Act from 1887, which counts electoral votes after presidential elections and allows legislators to object to the certification of electoral votes while the House and Senate tabulate the results from the states. According to National Public Radio (NPR), Representative Zoe Lofgren (D-CA) claimed the law was over a century old, calling it ancient. Lofgren added that some of the language is unclear, asserting there is a threat to the orderly and nonpartisan running of elections in the future if the legislation remains the same.
Despite irregularities and alleged election fraud in the 2020 election, VP Pence didn’t send back any electors. Many people speculated whether he even had the power to do so. But, as President Trump points out, the evidence suggests otherwise.
