(AmericanProsperity.com) – President Donald Trump is taking decisive action to put an end to the Democrat-created immigration crisis: sending illegal aliens to Guantánamo Bay.
Specifically, the Trump administration has unveiled a plan to transfer up to 30,000 criminal illegals to Guantánamo Bay.
Watch the video down below.
President Trump emphasized the importance of this measure, saying, “We have 30,000 beds in Guantanamo to detain the worst criminal illegal aliens threatening the American people.”
“Some of them are so bad we don’t even trust the countries to hold them, because we don’t want them coming back, so we’re going to send them out to Guantanamo,” he added.
This strategic initiative aims to remove threats from American streets and send a clear message: the nation will no longer tolerate those who break its laws and endanger its citizens.
The White House has issued a memo directing the Pentagon and the Department of Homeland Security to prepare the Guantánamo Bay naval base in Cuba as a detention center for these dangerous individuals.
This plan is part of President Trump’s intensified crackdown on illegal immigration.
He focuses on those who have been removed from the U.S. for being involved in criminal activities that pose serious threats to public order and national security.
President Trump signed the memo during a ceremony for the Laken Riley Act, which mandates the detention and potential deportation of those who entered the U.S. illegally and were arrested or charged with certain crimes.
This act honors the memory of Laken Riley, an innocent victim of illegal immigrant crime, and aims to prevent similar tragedies in the future.
President Trump stated:
“I hereby direct the Secretary of Defense and the Secretary of Homeland Security to take all appropriate actions to expand the Migrant Operations Center at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay to full capacity to provide additional detention space for high-priority criminal aliens unlawfully present in the United States.”
The Trump administration’s plan has received strong support from key officials.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth backed the initiative, stating, “Move them off to Guantánamo Bay, where they can be safely maintained until they are deported to their final location, their country of origin.”
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem also expressed support, mentioning that “there might be some resources that could be established for the worst of the worst at Guantánamo Bay.”
Although some Pentagon officials were initially surprised by the announcement, the administration is moving forward with plans to upgrade the facilities and seek Congressional funding.
The expanded facility will be separate from the existing high-security military prison and will be run by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Critics have voiced concerns about the plan, but the Trump administration remains committed to prioritizing the safety and security of American citizens.
As this plan is implemented, millions of Americans can rest assured that the government is taking concrete steps to remove threats from their communities.
