(AmericanProsperity.com) – Most Americans have said that Kamala Harris and the public are prepared to accept the results of the election as legitimate, but they are not so confident that Donald Trump will.
An ABC News/Ipsos poll said that eighty-one percent of Americans say that regardless of who wins or who they are voting for, they are prepared to accept the results of the election. Sixty-eight percent see Harris as prepared and only twenty-nine percent see Trump as prepared.
Ninety-two percent of Harris’ supporters say that they personally are ready to accept the results, while only seventy-six percent of Trump supporters are prepared.
Trump’s denial of election results seems to resonate with some Americans, but it’s clear that many think Trump himself won’t be prepared to accept the results. When looking at other statistics, thirty-four percent of people think that Joe Biden didn’t legitimately win the 2020 election.
The statistics showed that most people that think Joe Biden’s win in the 2020 election isn’t legitimate, also aren’t prepared for the results of this election. While those that feel he did legitimately win, were confident in the results of this election.
There are large gaps in the confidence of the vote count with over half of the Republicans lacking confidence in the count. There is clear concern from multiple parties including Conservatives over whether the votes will be counted correctly or not and if the election results will be legitimate.
This particular survey was produced by ABS News, specifically by Langer Research Associates, with the data and sampling collection done by Ipsos.
