US Soldier ARRESTED!

(AmericanProsperity.com) – A shocking breach in military security has surfaced as a U.S. Army soldier was arrested for selling stolen confidential phone records.

Federal authorities unsealed an indictment against soldier Cameron John Wagenius on December 2023, charging him with two counts of unlawful transfer of confidential phone records information.

The soldier, based at Fort Cavazos (formerly Fort Hood) with the III Armored Corps, was arrested in Texas. Each charge carries a potential prison sentence of up to 10 years and a fine.

The case has been transferred to Washington state, where Wagenius will face the full force of the law.

During a court hearing, he acknowledged understanding his rights and charges and waived his right to a detention hearing in Waco.

This move suggests a possible plea deal or cooperation with authorities, potentially exposing a wider network of cybercriminals targeting the nation’s defenses.

Cybersecurity journalist Brian Krebs reported that Wagenius used the online alias “Kiberphant0m,” a name that will likely become infamous in the records of military cybercrime.

Even more disturbing, Wagenius allegedly claimed to have hacked call records related to Kamala Harris and President-elect Donald Trump.

Wagenius’s arrest is part of a broader investigation into data breaches involving sensitive customer records.

This wider conspiracy includes individuals like Connor Moucka, who was arrested in Canada and is facing extradition to the U.S., and John Binns, who is currently jailed in Turkey for a separate hacking incident.

The involvement of foreign nationals in these cybercrimes underscores the global nature of the threat facing America’s digital infrastructure.

Allison Nixon, a patriot from cybersecurity company Unit 221B, played a crucial role in identifying Wagenius after receiving threats from Moucka’s hacking group.

Her brave actions demonstrate the importance of private-sector cooperation in safeguarding the nation’s secrets.

As of the time of publication, the DOJ and FBI have not commented on the case. This silence raises questions about the full extent of the breach and what other sensitive information may have been compromised.
