(AmericanProsperity.com) – Elon Musk had his interview with former president Donald Trump on X, but the interview was interrupted early on by technical glitches.
People who tried to log into the event said that they couldn’t join in on X’s live stream. Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, blamed a cyberattack for the platform freezing up. It has not been confirmed whether or not a cyberattack took place, but other parts of the platform still worked as normal despite the glitches.
It took an hour of troubleshooting before the two were able to live stream their interview together. They talked for about two hours and more than one million people were watching the interview, according to the X Spaces tally.
Musk stated, “This massive attack illustrates there’s a lot of opposition to people just hearing what President Trump has to say.”
He continued to say, “There appears to be a massive DDOS attack on X. Working on Shutting it down. Worst case, we will proceed with a smaller number of live listeners and post the conversation later.”
However, after the conversation got started, Steven Cheung, Trump spokesperson, stated that Musk and Trump actually caused the crash themselves by having so many people on X at one Time.
Cheung posted on X saying, “BREAKING THE INTERNET!” This post was sent with a photo of Trump talking into a phone on speaker.
Since Joe Biden has dropped out of the presidential race and started endorsing Kamala Harris, Donald Trump’s campaign has been doing everything in their power to boost Trump.
This conversation was expected to help revive Donald Trump’s campaign and bring in a lot of listeners as it features two of the most influential people.
This event was compared to when Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis launched his presidential campaign announcement on X which caused a huge technical disaster as well.
