(AmericanProsperity.com) – President Joe Biden started his career in politics 47 years ago when he first ran for the Senate back in 1972. At 79, he set a new record as the oldest living president to serve in the White House. While this is an outstanding achievement, many registered voters have expressed concerns about his mental state given the many blunders he’s had, especially when he goes off-script.
Biden’s corner works very hard to keep the president’s speeches short and to the point. And there’s an excellent reason for this. Biden is known to make some of the weirdest and most random remarks, confusing everyone in the room, including himself! Here are a few examples of Biden’s most recent unscripted comments:
Facebook Is Killing People
President Biden accused Facebook of “killing people” due to the misinformation about the coronavirus vaccines spreading throughout the platform, forcing Facebook to respond to the false allegations angrily. However, Biden took back his remarks saying Facebook wasn’t killing people, and he meant they should do something about the misinformation a few days later.
2006 Backhanded Remarks Against Indian-Americans
During his 2006 presidential run, Biden made insensitive comments telling one voter that Delaware’s Indian-American population was rising, saying a person can’t go into a Dunkin’ Donuts or 7-Eleven store unless you have an Indian accent. The Indian-American groups attacked him for his comments forcing Biden to apologize.
2020 Remarks Telling African-Americans “You Ain’t Black!”
During a live radio show with Charlamagne Tha God, the “Breakfast Club” host asked Biden a series of questions about the upcoming 2020 presidential election and how African-Americans felt their vote was being taken for granted. When pressed with more questions, Biden remarked begrudgingly, saying, “Well, I’m telling you, if you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black.” He later apologized, saying that he should not have been so cavalier about his insensitive comment.
Since becoming president, Biden has been on a short leash by his handlers from taking questions, especially after scripted events. But, in the end, he’s going to do what he wants. After all, he is the most influential person in the United States – or so it seems.
