What To Know About Trump-Harris ABC News Debate

(AmericanProsperity.com) – Former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris have a planned debate for this year’s election on ABC News next week.

There are only weeks until Election Day, and this debate has been highly anticipated and it’s very crucial for the candidates to sway voters in their direction. This debate will be an opportunity for Harris and Trump to explain their plans and policies for the future, should they become the next President.

You will be able to view the debate on ABC and it will stream on ABC News Live, Disney+, and Hulu. Viewers will also be able to view the debate through their smartphone or tablet through the ABC app.

ABC News Digital will be live blogging the debate while providing analysis, coverage, and fact checks. The debate will take place in Philadelphia at the National Constitution Center on Tuesday, September tenth at nine in the evening EDT.

The two moderators for the night will be David Muir, World News Tonight anchor and managing editor, as well as Linsey Davis, ABC News Live Prime anchor.

There are a few rules for this debate that Trump and Harris have already agreed on. Firstly, the microphone of one candidate will be muted as the other answers a question. The only people asking questions will be both of the moderators, and the debate is expected to last about ninety minutes.

There won’t be any opening statements for this debate and the closing statements will be limited to two minutes for each candidate. They also will have two minutes to answer questions with an extra minute to clarify or follow up.

Candidates will not be able to ask each other questions and there will be no live audience in the room at the time of the debate.
