White House Makes DAMNING Admission About Terror Group
(AmericanProsperity.com) – On Sunday, July 31, a drone carrying a Hellfire missile hit Al Qaeda terrorist Ayman al-Zawahiri. The assassination concluded a more than 20-year manhunt. Now, the Pentagon is making a new admission about the state of the Middle East.
On August 2, at a press conference the day before, Fox’s Peter Doocy questioned National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby about remarks President Joe Biden made last year. At the time of the Afghanistan withdrawal, the POTUS said there was no reason to be in the country when Al Qaeda was no longer there.
Kirby responded by saying the administration always knew there was a small number of terrorists operating in the country, but they weren’t “playing a major role in planning at the time.”
Fox News' Peter Doocy: 'You said you always knew Al-Qaeda was present in Afghanistan when President Biden said 'what interest do we have in Afghanistan with Al-Qaeda gone?'

The next day, Kirby spoke to Fox News’ Bill Hemmer. The New York Post reported the host asked him how long al-Zawahiri was in Kabul, Afghanistan, before his death. The official once again admitted that the terrorist had been in the country since late 2021 or early 2022. They knew “based on information that [officials] had by being able to track his family” and the target’s desire to reunite with them.
Since the administration withdrew troops, terrorists have regained footholds in the country. The effects have left some observers wondering whether the president made the right decision. What do you think?
