(AmericanProsperity.com) – With Biden’s poor withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan, a vortex of government power opened, which the Taliban filled. Since its ascension to de facto government, the extremist group has insisted this time would be different from its previous attempt as leader of the Middle Eastern nation.
Well, it’s hard to break old habits, and Taliban 2.0 appears to be falling right back into its seasoned skin. Despite the group’s alleged condemnation of terrorism, it has threatened to overrun Washington, DC with suicide bombers — 2,000 to be exact.

A December 11 tweet from Maulvi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, the Taliban’s acting defense minister and son of Mullah Mohammad Omar Mujahid, co-founder of the Taliban, asserted that if America wants to have 2,000 troops at their embassy in Afghanistan, then the Taliban wants 2,000 suicide bombers in DC. Not exactly the friendliest statement and not the different direction they promised after regaining control of the region.
The Biden administration has let it go unchecked, with no word from the president. There would have been hell to pay if the Taliban had made this statement under another administration, namely Trump’s. Then, the United States would have at least responded to the Taliban’s bold and threatening assertion.
