Some slip-ups from top Democrats have stirred speculation as to who’s actually in charge of the United States. Due to the nature of the slip-ups, many observers are beginning to believe that former President Barack Obama is telling Biden what to do.

Previously Jen Psaki, White House Press Secretary, spoke with Ana Navarro on ABC’s “The View” when she accidentally said she loved working for President Obama, then catching and correcting herself to say, President Biden.

Back in 2021, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi seemingly slipped-up as well when she called the Build Back Better plan “Obama’s full agenda.” President Biden is the one in the White House, right? So, why call it Obama’s agenda when Biden is touting the plan as his own?
CBS News and Newsmax both reported that Obama recently spoke with members of the House. During the conference call, the former president urged Democrats to take the wins they could get before the midterm elections. Obama also urged lawmakers against complaining about issues they can’t change.
All of this is eye-opening, and it’s reasonable that some believe Biden isn’t really in control. The question is, if not him, then who? Is Obama a shadow president? Perhaps it’s someone else. Or perhaps it’s nothing more than speculation.
